The BIG Dance Returns March 15: Dance for a Cause at the Historic Riverside Ballroom

Tickets go on sale February 1 for the eighth annual fundraiser benefiting the River Street Food Pantry

Mark your calendars: The BIG Dance is back on Saturday, March 15, and this year it's taking over the Historic Riverside Ballroom for one night of music, movement, and meaningful impact.

Hosted by the Downtown Arts Collective, this annual fundraiser has become a staple of the city's spring calendar—and for good reason. Every dollar from ticket sales goes directly to the River Street Food Pantry, which provided more than 40,000 meals to local families last year. That impact starts with a dance floor.

What to Expect

This isn't a typical charity gala. DJ Marisol, resident spinner at the Blue Note Lounge, will headline the night with a set built on funk, soul, and disco until midnight. Whether you show up to dance or just soak up the atmosphere, the 1,200-square-foot ballroom floor and vintage art-deco setting make it hard to stay in your seat.

The evening also includes a raffle with prizes you can actually use: a weekend getaway to Lakeside Resort, a curated gift basket from Foundry Coffee Roasters, and a private dance lesson with a local instructor.

Open to Everyone

You don't need choreography skills to show up. The Downtown Arts Collective designed The BIG Dance as an inclusive, all-ages event—seasoned dancers, first-timers, and anyone looking for a memorable Saturday night are welcome.

How to Attend

Doors open at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. A limited number of VIP tables are also available.

Tickets go on sale February 1. Sign up for email alerts at downtownartscollective.org/thebigdance to secure yours before they sell out.
