This summer, Panama City Dance Academy transforms hesitant first-timers into confident young performers—one week at a time. Our June morning camps give dancers ages 5–12 a crash course in ballet, tap, hip-hop, and jazz, no prior experience required. Whether your child has never tied a ballet shoe or already takes weekly classes, they'll leave with new skills, new friends, and a Friday afternoon performance they'll be talking about for months.
What a Week Looks Like
Each camp day runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at our studio in downtown Panama City. Mornings begin with a high-energy warm-up and style introduction, followed by focused technique sessions in two different dance genres. Mid-morning brings a snack break (provided) and a creative choreography lab where students work in small groups to build their own 8-count sequences. By Thursday, campers start rehearsing their showcase routine. Friday culminates in a 3 p.m. performance for parents and caregivers—costumes, applause, and big smiles included.
