Fan-captured videos and photos shared across X and TikTok show the Gossip Girl alumna dancing alongside her eldest daughters, James, 9, and Inez, 7, as Swift powered through her three-and-a-half-hour setlist. Lively kept her look low-key in a casual denim-on-denim outfit paired with white sneakers—far removed from the couture gowns she's worn at recent premieres. Her daughters appeared equally concert-ready, with clips showing the girls sporting friendship bracelets and singing along to fan favorites from the Fearless and 1989 eras.
A Longtime Friendship on Full Display
Lively's Madrid appearance marks her latest public show of support for Swift, whom she's befriended for nearly a decade. The actress has attended multiple Eras Tour dates since the blockbuster trek launched in March 2023, including stops in Kansas City and London. Swift has returned the favor in her own way: James's voice appears on the opening track of Swift's 2017 album reputation, and the singer name-checked both James and Inez in her 2020 song "Betty"—the third in a trilogy of tracks from folklore that also references their youngest sibling, Betty, 4.
Husband Ryan Reynolds did not appear to join the Madrid outing, though he has accompanied Lively to previous Eras Tour shows. The couple's fourth child, born in February 2023, was also not present.
Madrid's Star-Studded Crowd
The May 29–30 Madrid dates drew a notably celebrity-heavy audience, with Spanish royalty and local actors spotted throughout the stadium. Swift's Madrid run was her first in the Spanish capital since 2011, and demand was fierce: an estimated 130,000 fans packed the venue across both nights, with resale ticket prices surging well above €1,000.
For Lively, the trip appeared to be as much about family time as fandom. In one widely circulated clip, she bends down to sing directly to Inez during "Love Story," the pair exchanging grins as the crowd roared around them.
