The College Connection
Students from nearby colleges bring fresh energy and modern variations, creating a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary swing styles.
"I moved to Villisca two years ago knowing no one. The swing community became my instant family. At 65, I'm learning new things and making friends across generations. The laughter is as good for my soul as the movement is for my body!"
- Barbara K., Retired Nurse

Most evenings start with a beginner lesson where you'll learn the fundamental rhythm and a few basic moves. You don't need a partner - we rotate frequently so everyone dances with everyone.
The Music
From classic Count Basie to modern electro-swing, the music will make you want to move. Don't be surprised if you find yourself tapping your feet during the first song!
